New OSU Extension FactSheet Vomitoxin in Corn Available
The new factsheet entitled “Gibberella Ear Rot and Mycotoxins in Corn: Sampling, Testing and Storage” is now available at the following link http://ohioline.osu.edu/ac-fact/pdf/0052.pdf. This publication provides up-to-date information on the development of Gibberella ear rot; sampling and testing for mycotoxins, with an emphasis on vomitoxin; and storage and handling of moldy grain. This is a very timely publication since producers and others in the corn industry are still dealing with ear rots and mycotoxin issues.
